Project Description

Storm clouds swirl over beautiful Kalamalka Lake in Canada’s Okanagan region. The swiftly changing light and high contrast create dramatic effects that I found fascinating to watch and fun to photograph.  The color palette is almost monochromatic, which is so unusual for given the world famous emerald green waters this lake is known for. In fact, the whole Okanagan region is generally very colorful through the softened palette of its arid environment so this was was a unique treat for me to witness.
